An Indian deep-tech product startup. We started with the Trustedwear Watch — a 7-camera safety smartwatch for kids and teens, designed, engineered, and built fully in-house — and building it led to our second product: Citra AI, our governed agentic AI platform for private enterprise, delivered as SaaS, private cloud, or BYOC.

We started with a watch. We ended up governing AI.
Hardware development runs in years, not sprints. What we built in the gaps between board revisions became a product of its own — and the discipline hardware demands became the governance our AI is known for.

A promise to protect
Trustedwear Tech starts its journey with one product in mind: a security smartwatch that keeps kids and teens safe — 7 cameras, live SOS, privacy owned by the wearer. IIT Patna incubates us, funded by Startup India, Bihar Startup, and MeitY.

Hardware teaches patience
PCB spins, camera arrays, a custom OS — hardware progress is measured in years, not sprints. Between board revisions, a team with 20+ years of enterprise-software DNA had engineering time on its hands. We used it.

The discovery
Building the AI services behind the watch, we hit the wall every enterprise hits: there was no proper way to govern AI. No ontology of the business for it to reason over, no control over what a model may and may not do, no audit trail when it acts. The missing layer became our second product — Citra AI.

Citra AI goes live
A governed agentic platform for private enterprise: describe an app or API in plain English, Citra builds it, grounds it in your ontology, and gates every action behind a policy a human controls. Live today — SaaS, private cloud, or BYOC.

The watch returns
The prototype that started it all is completed — the same discipline that made hardware safe now governs our AI. The Trustedwear Watch for kids and teens heads toward its 2027 launch.
