And then, if something happens
Five lenses around the rim cover about three-quarters of the horizon around your wrist; one looks up out of the dial, one looks out from under the strap — so you don't have to keep looking over your shoulder.

Five around the rim. Each sees 54° across and 72° tall. Between them the rim leaves gaps: about 58° at 12 o'clock, 18° at 3 o'clock between the crowns, and three slivers of about 4°.
One in the lobe. Looks straight up out of the dial — at her when she reads the watch, at whoever leans over her when her arm is down.
One on the strap. Looks out of the band, over the side of the wrist the case cannot see.
Not the full circle: the rim leaves a wedge of about 58° at 12 o'clock, one of about 18° at 3 o'clock and three slivers of about 4°. 54° across and 72° tall per lens is PixArt's field for this module, from the engineering model.
Why it is on your wrist
To take your wrist, cover your mouth or push you into a car he has to close to thirty or forty centimetres. That is the one distance a camera on a wrist is good for — and the one distance he cannot avoid and still do anything to you.
A few metres away
It sees a person.
That someone was there, how close they came, and when. Not who — no wrist camera gives you that, and we will not say otherwise.
Close enough to touch you
It sees a face.
At contact range a face fills the frame. He cannot both stay out of the picture and reach you.

How safety works
Like sharing your live location on WhatsApp or your Uber ride with a friend — except the person you pick sees what is around you, not only where you are. And nobody who has closed in on you waits while you unlock a phone, so the recording is already running before he arrives; the press is only the alarm.

Start a Live Share — 30, 60 or 120 minutes — to one person you trust.
2 · During
They see where you are, with live video and audio. Your phone stays in your pocket.
3 · If something happens
Hold the SOS button for five seconds. No phone to find or unlock.
4 · Immediately
Everyone you chose gets the alert, your location, the live stream and the fifteen minutes before.
5 · After
It is kept as evidence — sealed, signed, and ready to download for the police or a court.

Why she wears it
You still choose the lit street — but you stop rehearsing it. No “reached home?” texts, nobody at home watching the clock. Share the walk with one person you trust — video, audio and where you are, live, phone in your pocket — and go. If someone closes in, one press on the wrist alerts everyone you chose. And what you tell him is true: this is being recorded and sent live — don't come any closer.

Twist the strip and all five rim lenses are covered at once; the lobe and strap cameras slide shut with a thumb. Anyone across the table can see it. The microphone still hears until you pause recording in the app.

Twist the strip. A holed band sits in the case wall — a 15° twist walks a blank onto all five rim lenses at once.
Slide the front cover. Separate from the strip, so the lens in the lobe — the one looking up out of the dial — can be shut on its own.
Thumb the strap cover. It slides along the pod, toward the case, and parks there.
This is the engineering model — a 0.6 mm strip and two sliders, as they will be made. Nothing here is software: with a cover across a lens, no setting, no update and no fault can see through it. The covers are for what is seen — the microphone still hears until you pause recording in the app.

Your day as the places you stopped and for how long, on a map. The stops where your hands were busy come first — that is where things get put down. Open one and look; you recognise it, nothing names it for you.
Conversations
Search what was said around you — a meeting, an appointment, an arrangement — and play that stretch back, with the day and the time.
Photos
Describe what was in view — “a red umbrella” — and get back when and on which camera. At arm's length, not a number plate across the road. You open the frame; nothing labels it.
Ask
A written answer from your own fifteen days, with the lines it came from right underneath, so you can check it — and it says when there was something it could not look at.

of video, audio, location and the index that searches them — then it all rolls off by itself.
Words stay here
What was said is transcribed on your phone and never leaves it. The cloud keeps a sealed index — when, not what — so search comes back after a reinstall.
Keep what matters
Mark any stretch as evidence, up to an hour at a time, and it is kept until you delete it. An SOS is marked for you.

Look Back · your speaking coach
The watch already hears your day, so Look Back can coach the one voice in it that is yours. Read a short passage once with the watch on and it learns your voice; from then on it measures only you — how much of the talking was yours, your pace, your filler words, how each conversation went. It is not a behaviour-correction coach and it never grades you: you pick what to work on, and it shows you whether it is moving.
Your voice only
Other people are timed so your share can be counted — never transcribed, never analysed, never kept. No emotion labels, no score of you as a person. It all runs on your phone; your numbers are kept for good, your words for fifteen days, and your journal until you delete it.
Your day, any time
Speaking time, your conversations morning, afternoon and evening, and for each one your share, pace and fillers — with a one-line summary made on your phone from your words alone.
Goals you pick
Up to three: interrupt less, speak up more or let others talk more, stay calm in arguments, slow down, fewer filler words. Measured from timing and loudness, week on week.
Practice out loud
A job interview, a presentation, asking for a raise, saying no, a difficult conversation. Answer into your watch; get length, pace, pauses and fillers back, a replay, and a suggestion drawn only from what you said.
Evening reflection
What went well today? What was hard? What will you do differently tomorrow? Say it or type it — and tomorrow's note is waiting in your Morning report.
Every other day
Armour only works on a wrist it never leaves. So the rest of the watch is built for an ordinary Tuesday: faces you would choose anyway, a cycle and a night's sleep it learns for you, a memory you can ask questions of, and steps that show up on the dial. None of it is ever shared — not with a contact, not with us, not in an SOS.

At night the back of the watch reads skin temperature, resting pulse and heart-rate variability. From those three it learns your cycle — when the next period is likely, the fertile window, a night that ran warm — and how you actually slept, stage by stage, not just how long.

Your cycle lives on your phone and your watch. It is not in the sealed box, not in an SOS, not shown to an emergency contact, and not on our servers. And it is tracking, not diagnosis — not contraception, not medical advice.
Steps and workouts
A step counter that lives on the faces — around Grande's bezel, on Gauge's 270° dial — plus walks, runs and workouts started from the wrist and kept on your phone. Enough to make it the watch you reach for in the morning, which is the only place the rest of it works.
